A surreal drawing of a creature with parts of a horse's body and a face with sharp teeth, surrounded by bubbles.

In every stroke, Isgut seemed to be searching for a crack through which to let the light in. He painted as one writes letters to someone who may never respond, but still needs to do so.

His colors, sometimes timid, sometimes overflowing, did not aim to conquer, but to accompany. Today, when contemplating his works, we do not see only images: we see a dialogue with silence, a map of thoughts and emotions drawn with the pencil of the invisible.

Elías Isgut reminds us that, even after erecting foundations and structures, the true work is the one that dares to build bridges toward what is unseen.
